    I don't know about "home", but I'm here! :-)

I've got most of them, I think. Tell me what you want and I'll email them to you.

I haven't seen the mod, GOrd Hannah post here since March,
nor in other echoes he moderates. I also note Andrew Clark
has not posted here in quite awhile.

YOu should be able to find most artware stuff on Mark
    LEwis's system, wpusa.dynip.com.

Andrew Clark used to post such information, but as I
commented, haven't seen him post here in quite awhile.

That's a good point -- Gord Hannah is no longer in FidoNet, so I guess we need a new moderator?

He's not in the Nodelist -- but I don't know if he ever was!

    Good thought!

INdeed, as I note, same with some other echoes he cared for
as well. Since he's in your region you might have contact
with him by email. Have you made ocntact with him re his
intentions? I note that at least one of his echoes should
be in the expired listings category with the echolist this
    month.

<hmmm> NEver really looked. tHis points up another reason
why I keep arguing that admin stuff, or quasi official
functions such as the echolist should be addressable by
FIdonet primarily, even if by routed mail only. Makes no
sense to have a moderator of a backboned echo who does not
participate in FIdonet, even as a user on somebody's system, but that's a topic
    for another echo.

I know Mark's got a lot of it, because I made a raid on him
for some of it. I'd have to look through his file list to
make sure he's got the y2k patches for netmgr and timed,
because I may have had a friend of mine shoot me those via
email iirc. That was back before my isp went to webmail and screwed up automation of ppp for dial-up so badly. If he
doesn't I'll make sure he does have <g>.

I've just heard back from Gord and now have the password for his echoes. COMM seems to be dead, so I suggest we close it. Would you like to take over as mod for this one?

INdeed, be glad to. <hmmm> IF you'd rather that's good
with me as well, but if you'd rather not I'm willing.
I see he last listed it on January 1, so its listing should
be expiring. I'm willing if you would rather not.

I poll Janis at least once daily, and she routes mail for
me, as does 3634/12, since you're binkd and other means
connected, or you can email plaintext only richard.webb@116-901.ftn.wpusa.dynip.com

    DIsregard earlier msg.

SPeaking of the comm echo, I did save GOrd's monthly 12 part posting that he did in comm explaining terminology. I
didn't see a copyright notice on it, but everybody knows it
was his work. I could take out the headers and hatch it in
ep-fdn in the ep-ascii file area if he'd like.

    Richard

No, I'm happy to have you do it! I'll send you the password!

The echolist is NOT part of Fidonet, so you can wish all you want...

As far as I know, there is no requirement that a moderator have a node number.
Many echoes were and are moderated by users of a BBS.
