I enter a new user name in WCReport and give that user name a preassigned password. I want the user to change his\er password after the first login. To force the user to do this I check the "Force Password Change" box.

My interpretation of this is that something will happen to force the user to change his/er password. However, this does not happen. (The Help button on this screen does not work - - - Should it?

    Questions:

    1. What does checking the "Force Password Change" box do?
    2. Is it possible to force the user to change his\er password?
    3. If it is possible, how do I do it?

Your suggestions will be much appreciated!

    John ~

I just tried it here using 5.6.450. I logged into wcreport, selected my account, checked the change password at next login and saved the record.
When I telnet or dialup to the BBS, it tells me I must change my password
after I input my current existing password.

    Thanks
    Chris
