  • New headset

    Hello All,

    I just bought a Heil Sound Pro-Micro dual side headset with the iC mic element since I own ICOM radios. The sound is great but I need to pick up a footswitch which I am planning on doing tomorrow as I am going to the Sevierville (Tennessee) Hamfest. Sevierville is about an hour and 15 minute drive for me southwest. My good friend and fellow ham and I will be heading down there.

    I'm also looking for some good crimp-on PL-259 connectors and a few connection adapters. Should be fun.

    Of course, afterwards, my friend and I will be going to an AYCE buffet to continue another amateur radio tradition. <G>

    LOL - sounds like a fun day! All the way across the state for me, so
    I won't be there... Actually I'm letting my wife sleep in this morning -
    been a long, busy week for both of us, but her physical issues take a
    larger toll on her... :(
