• IPv6 rising at AMS-IX

From Michiel van der Vlist@2:280/5555 to All on Mon Sep 3 14:21:39 2012
    Hello All,

IPv6 traffic at AMS-IX has risen form 2 Gbps in May to 4 Gbps today. XS4ALL, a large ISP and IPv6 pioneer claims this is due to them switching on IPv6 by default for all new customers that order fibre. They now have 20.000 customers on native IPv6.

it just sad that i dont live in holland :(, here in danmark its more easy to get ipv4 on cobber lines then tv on fiber optic cables, it does not hurd them back since tv is not selling very well, and if "super hi" iptv come then thay might wake up :=)

if isps belive one can record one hdtv channel while wathing another channel on cobber might be disapointed

imho it have nothing to do with ipv4 or ipv6 roles out or not

    Regards Benny
