• MS did it again

From Markus Reschke@2:240/1661 to All on Fri Dec 6 14:48:46 2013
    Hello!

Just read that Xbox One requires Teredo tunnels even if native IPv6 is available. That clearly violates RFCs. MS is trying to create it's own standards as usual :-(

    Regards,
    Markus

Description: Miredo is an open-source Teredo IPv6 tunneling software.

    ----- miredo.ebuild ends -----

so if microsoft have changed the code in that, then it breaks teredo

I spuspect it has to do with control. Teredo needs a teredo server and of course Microsoft has configered it to use THEIR Teredo server. That way they can monitor the traffic and detect tampering/unregistered copies...

    Cheers, Michiel
