The first episode jumped around too much and tried to be too mysterious and secretive, I think. The second episode, however, was really well done and easy to follow, a stark contrast to the premier.

I had no clue it was Marvel until the very end... even if it wasn't all I can say is WOW... it has great visuals and it had you really wondering if he was insane or not. (Still not sure if he is or isn't) the acting is not as stiff as the other Marvel shows and I like that it's not so polished.

I kind of agree... it took the 2nd epi to fill in some blanks the 1st one left open. I had no idea they were going the route of superhero until the end.

All and all some shows take a bit to get going. The first epi of Heros was kind of the smae way it left you scratching your head wondering what did I just watch?

Uh oh, you envoked "Heroes". I certainly hope this show doesn't go that direction. Heroes was great the first season, then it was all downhill from there.

It's not technically Marvel, as the characters are owned by Fox (X-Men). It doesn't take place in the Marvel Universe, and I've been told it doesn't take place in the X-Men universe that Fox created with the last few X-Men flicks.

Hmmm... I wonder if it's the "Mutant-X" universe that they also own. Anyhow this seems to be a bit more cerebral than X-Men and more carefully thought out.

AGREED! I think it was because the first season seemed like one big
story! The rest seemed like, "well they liked it - let's see what else
    we can write."

I've gone back and watched JUST season one and stopped - VERY much
    enjoyed it!
