I hope someone out here has the answer.
My smtp server is outputting localhost.localdomain on the helo response and is getting black listed for it.
What is the fix, anyone know?
Thanks,
Bruce

Are you saying that when connecting to another SMTP server they are
helo localhost.localdomainreverse
If so it suggests a DNS issue. That is that your external IP when
mapped may come back as localhost.localdomain rather than:
yourhostname.yourdomain.com
What is your host domain name?

Mike,
Yes that is what I am saying. Is this a ISP problem or is it mine here on my server?
Here is my domain name.
mail.superp.com
superp.com
Thanks for the assistance.

Your reverse lookup is fine
Non-authoritative answer:
64.71.124.4.in-addr.arpa name = 4.124.71.64.cin.dial.core.com
To be honest my memory on this topic is somewhat fuzzy.
So:
In wcConfig -> Mail Server -> Primary Domain
Is your Local Domain Name and Local Site Name set correctly?
In wcConfig -> Mail Server -> Primary Domain -> Hosts -> DefaultHost
Is the site name and domain name set correctly?
** Most importantly
In wcConfig -> Mail Server -> SMTP Server
Is Local domain name set correctly?
Also Hector maybe populating the domain name from a local IP lookup so
your PC has a Private IP Address i.e. 192.168.x.x etc does your DNS orhere on
local hosts file have a proper entry for your PC/Host.
