Wildcat! did not generate this report, so its hard to tell you, but
    it does say

    "530 User Not Authenticated

which to me, probably means you were trying to send mail externally
and the system required you to authenticate (login) to send mail
    out.

    Make sense?

    Hi Greg,

I almost know what you mean. I've been toying with cat here off and on
for so long. It just doesn't seem right to me not to be running it.

    Hello Hector

    Sounds greek to me!

I did see that out of the box win2003 has SMTP set on in services, as
soon as I shut that service off I was able to receive mail coming into winserver without a error message coming back to sender. I'm still
stuck in mail setup at being able to send mail out of winserver to
    someone though.

Laughing, after 11 years of not using the software I seem to have some
of it coming back fast, other parts like this part (email) not. But I
must say, no matter what, I haven't had this much fun in a long time.
Again laughing, I find myself smiling more setting up this site then
some of the dates I've been on! What's up with that.....

    Greg
