FWIW: your posts are showing 0:0/0 in the message headers here in
this timED reader and the origin line is wrapped putting your
address on the next line... i don't think that shortening the
origin text will help with the header address but it might... when
i start a netmail reply to one of your posts, the address is 0:0/0
and it requires a nodelist lookup to find your proper fidonet
address... looks like a bug somewhere, just not sure where :/

It's the corrupted non-Y2K compliant date field. Maybe the Spitfire editor. See my message to Glenn about this. And yes the address shows
up as 0:0/0 here as well.

The date was "01 Jan 80" as well, so I'm guessing it's not Y2K compliant.
Mike Woltz did
update v3.7 and made it y2k complient.... unless he's using a differentexternal editor. Alexi should also be complient as well....

Strange, I'm replying via local login, so I'm not using anything
external. I'm using Freemail 1.08 to export/import and Radius for transfers. I'll check into the setup further and see if I can resolve
the problem, I hope :) Regards,

is freemail your tosser that imports and exports the FTN PKTs to/from
your spitfire? if so, the problem may reside there...
note the date in the attribution header again... i'll have to check on
my main system to see what pktdate reported for your posts if you are interested...
I'll shorten the Origin line and we'll see what happens :) Thanks
Mark!

Being you're using Spitifre why not use AlexiMail to export/import
as it was built especially for SF.
I've never heard of it Bill. Will have a look around for it. Thanks!

See my previous message Bill. The latest Amail is still broken. :)
