Yes I know, but I haven't found that setting, even though I have

What version of Windows are you using on your OS/2 machine? (-:
That takes me back. Too bad they couldn't produce a more affordable
Amiga. That was a heck of a machine, but no one was writing programs
for it.
The reason why nobody wrote programs for it, was that it was
considered to be only a game machine, as were the earlier
Commodores.
No matter what it was referred as, any computer with contiguous
memory would have been a success, at least with me, but I'm only one
friend bring his Amiga in for a demo to the rest of those who showed
up and I can tell you I was impressd from the outset.
There were in fact a few (a couple ?) office programs written for
it, but the Amiga never took off.
I did manage to convert an Amiga BASIC program so it would run on an
IBM compatible.
If it had, even OS/2 would have been superfluos. It was that
capable.
Maybe so, but we'll never know.

It seems to me that I may have found that setting sometime, because
I have an icon on the screen, that says 'Windows10 Upgrade

run only OS/2.

Since I wasn't interested in 'game machine', I never paid attention
to the price of it, nor compared it to the price of an IBM
compatible.
But it can't have been very expensive, because my GS was only
schoolboy when he got it, unless he was sponsored by somebody.

I started programming in assembler, when I found that Basic wasn't
good enough to manage large and fast programs, on my Sinclair

Then I bought a CP/M machine, and converted earlier made Basic

did also try Turbo C, Modula and CA Realizer.

When I read 'pane' I interpret it to window. What I got after
clicking Settings >, was a splash covering most of the screen.
I tried to find "system", "about" and "version" without results.
Next day I clicked the icon named 'system' on the splash screen,
and there I found 'about' at the end of the list.
It showed the version to be: 1607, ie. the update. I checked again
the contents of the Windows Upgrade Assistant, and found a couple
of text files dated oct.11 2016, apparently telling the date of the upgrade.

Yes it was apparently 1511. I started up the laptop, and before
doing anything else, I checked the 'about', and it showed 1511. You
may have done an upgrade after that, to have it show 1533.
I then started up the WiFi, and was shown that Windows had an
upgrade. It didn't ask me if it should apply it, but started
downloading that immeadetely, and applied it at once.
After that, when clicking Start > and Settings >, I do now get what
I would call a 'window' (pane) on the left, that now makes me more confused, than the previous 'splash screen', with the various
icons.
OTOH, Facebook seems to work on that machine, despite the fact that
I have never used, nor logged in to FB before with it. But of
course, the user is the same, as well as the email address.
