    Seems to be working ok. Thank you!
    Now it's ready for reading/writing in every charset that we use in Spanish (and other roman languages)

    Checked, works fine. I see that Delete Line is now Ctrl-L. Great! (Interestingly, it seems that Ctrl-Y also deletes the current line, if there is nothing to re-do.)

    A minor glitch: just after installing v394, fields names in the message list are in German (Absender, Empg„nger, ...).
    After changing the language in Options they are displayed correctly (I changed to English and back to Spanish).

    Will continue testing... Thanks again for your great work!

    This weeks nodelist and nodediff arrived via their respective file echos after updating my install to 394. Both of them were automatically moved to their respective sub-directories in the Filebase directory but no processing whatsoever took place :-(

    Same thing happened here, so I changed to German and then back to English which corrected the issue. However, after exiting and re-starting WinPoint, they've changed back to German. This behaviour is also to be seen in the Outbound window.

    I've just discovered the cause, there's now an extra option in the Nodelists/Pointlists configuration ---> "File Area"

    Later still .....

    All the lists and diffs are deleted from their respective sub-directories after processing.

    This weeks nodelist and nodediff arrived via their respective file echos after updating my install to 394. Both of them were automatically moved
    to their respective sub-directories in the Filebase directory but no processing whatsoever took place :-(

    You have to configure the respective file area for each node list/diff in the node/pointlest settings.

    Also, you have to *use either the diff or the full list* for the automatic update of a list. Enabling both may result in "nothing" because if WP finds more than two lists (also because you stockpiled them in the file area and now all of them show up), it will do nothing. Full lists are only replaced, if exactly two matching files/(e.g., NODELIST.007 and NODELIST.014) are in the DistribNL folder. In this case, the older one will get renamed to NODELIST.OLD and the remaining one will go into processing. Since later no more than one file is assumed to arrive per week this works automatically as long as you grab them every week.

    BTW: THis underlying basics habe been used in WP95 already, so this (contrary to nowadays public belief) was basically working for decades now. The only limitation was that until now, WP was only relying on DIFFs (not supporting automatic update from full list files). In addition, the files had to ne in DistribNL or Inbound, so if TIC-processing was enabled in WP2005 it moved the files out of sight. So for WP2005, either this had to be disabled or some people used scripts to move/decompress the files directly to DistribNL to trigger the automatic processing.

    I've just discovered the cause, there's now an extra option in the Nodelists/Pointlists configuration ---> "File Area"

    All the lists and diffs are deleted from their respective sub-directories after processing.

    That was the intended result. WP consumes all lists/diffs during processing and leaves only the current and the previous version in DistribNl. The rationale ist that Points are not likely to make a collection of old Diffs/Lists. Also, at a certain point they become indistinguishable because there is no standardized date information in the list - only the day number.

    Yes, that was the bit that I hadn't done because I hadn't realised that this had to be done.

    Also, you have to use either the diff or the full list for the automatic update of a list.

    I've now reset my nodelist/pointlist configs to *NOT* use diffs.

    I've now reset my nodelist/pointlist configs to NOT use diffs.

    Having just realised that I need to retain copies of the nodelist and poinlist for use elsewhere, I've now reset it to use diffs. Works a treat! :)
