    I created the WINPOINT echo locally, first. Or does this only work when the area is autocreated after an areafix request and toss?

    Good question. I have no idea. I don't seem to have that
    original message on my Winpoint system! ..and I haven't
    deleted any messages since the previous version.

    Maybe the %origaddr is part of a "new message" template I was
    playing with and never finished designing.

    So far, most of my messages in the echo have been replies. I'll
    see if N)ew message duplicates the situation above.
